After the release of the RAF Puma HC1 pack at the end of last year we've had a lot of requests for different versions. So we thought we'd do something "special". With the rise of ArmA's Naval forces I thought we'd better get something to counter them. 

Equiping a Navalised Vesion of the Pumas with Exocet and Sea Eagle Anti Shipping Missiles seemed like a good solution to me. The more technically (read as pedantically) inclined might say "The AS330 doesnt carry Exocet or Sea Eagles." Well I've not really found anything to back that up. From various sources ive found Pumas and Super Pumas have variously been modified to carry ASMs in the past. Although Exocet is usually carried by the more capable AS332 Super Puma and Cougar its not impossible for an AS330 to carry them.

Right now we're going to stick with the XX330 series of airframes.  Why?  well quite honestly its easier for us to manage. It takes a surprising amount of work to convert a model into different versions. Work, that right now we could not really do in any meaningful time frame prior to ArmA2's release date. 

The AS332 Super Puma/Cougar should make an appearance as part of the Boa Verde Project.  So for now we are going to release (relatively soon) 2 more PBOs with 16 new variations on the AS330 Airframe:

"Why make RACS stuff?"

Well as I said before we had alot of requests to make them. WLD427's reluctance to integrate the Cargo system etc with the PRACS models prompted a lot of requests for RACS versions of our Puma HC1. I think its 32 unique emails to date. So as with all the other Puma varients, they will be fully integrated with the new versions of the Cargo and Flare systems so you can get the full benefit in your RACS and OPFOR missions.
